The Negril Lighthouse

Today we are featuring one of the most famous landmarks of Negril, the Negril Lighthouse! Built in the 1890's, the Negril lighthouse is solar powered, being converted to solar energy back in the 1980's. Located just south of the western most edge on the cliffs of the island of Jamaica, it is one of the "must sees" on the West End. If you are lucky, you will be able have the caretaker escort you to the top, to get an unparalleled view of the cliffs in Negril!
