Bob Marley Birthday Bash at MXIII

Friday the 6th was the 70th birthday, or in Rastafari slang, "earthstrong" of Jamaica's legendary Bob Marley. Bob Marley was born Robert Nesta Marley on February 6th, 1945 in the rural community of Rhoden Hall, Nine Miles, set in the mountainous terrain of the parish of St. Ann. Born to Cedella Malcolm and Captain Norval Sinclair Marley, the family moved to Trenchtown, Kingston and in 1962, Bob formed a band called the Wailing Wailers with Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer. The rest is music history. On the 6th, MXIII celebrated the life and incredible music of this most amazing talent. Glen M. snapped this great photo of the event! Happy EarthStrong Bob!
