I see many of you purchase Red Strip by the case at Hi-Lo, what is the cost of a case.

I know that my husband says the cheapest case he has bought is at the Chiny man's store. It is across from the bank, next to where the man sells oranges out of the back of his truck. I don't know the price yet I will ask when my husband returns. Also, If you happen to see the RedStripe truck deliverying, you can buy right off the truck at a real good price.

As of todays exchange that works out to be about $1 a beer. Not bad considering.

My last purchase at Value Master, a tad cheaper than expensive Hi Lo, but not much, was over 2,100 Ja.
Chiny Man shop is cheaper, but that place needs to be shut down by the Health board, seriously, I boycotted that filthy place a long time ago.
Bring Antibacterial wipes with you and use them asap. if you go in there.
Cheapest place is in Little London, 17 or 1800 Ja per case, but the truck definately beats all.
Also, "Cash 'n Carry" is beside the plaza where Juicy Beef Patty place is, it's a Jamaican supermarket, lowest prices in town. Nice people too. Ask the big tall guy to get you a case of R/S.
My friend "Jimbo" who comes every year, plays harmonica at our place on Sunday Brunch and resembles Bozo the clown, rides his bicycle up and down and literally chases the beer truck, with his case of empties tied to his bike.
If you buy a 'crate', it costs about 120 ja more, but if you buy the box, it's that much cheaper and they come in six packs.
The crate is handy for returning empties, but if you're not, save the money and get the box.

Little tip, when travelling by car, etc., if you have empty bottles in the car, you can leave them pretty much anywhere and they will be taken up promtly for the 5 Ja return payout.

Never feel bad about leaving empty bottles. It's cash money for someone!

Cheers!
