| Captain oil you are somewhat confused! You may have misread everything. I have noticed a lot of you neo-cons are dyslexic. The issue of the matter was giving false information under oath. "No I did not have sexual relation with that woman." That cost the taxpayers 70 million dollars. It turns out that some of those moral believers like yourself where caught having affairs at the same time. But you and your moral self did not mention that. You also do not add very well, but then I have noticed that you religious right do not have very good math skills. If you take all the money that the Bush administration has spent(15trillion)the largest some of money that has ever been spent by any whitehouse admin in history, and you add that up to what you as a country have got for it and you come up with this. Lied too so your sons and daughters could to die for a false cause. And you have the nerve to talk about morals. Wake up! |

| Current Bush can't even pour piss from his boots with the directions written on the heel. He claims to be pro life and yet gins up a war in Iraq and is trying to do the same for Iran. He squanders our resources and assets on destruction of middle class peoples in the U.S. and Iraq. |

Woah! G. You start your debate by calling names; bad form. 1.Confused 2.Neo-con(whatever that is) 3.Dyslexic 4.Moral belivers(possible Christian slam) 5.Religeous Right(confermation of said slam) These results in points off of your score. Scroll up a bit and read my thread of what bubbagate was really about;POLITICS. When you look at an issue you must seek to find the wheels within the wheels. The left is in opposition to the Iraq war in order to take the security card from the right. Calling names is just part of how it is done. Unfortunately, from my perspective, the left has embraced defeat as their method to negate the rights hold on the security card. "By any means necessary" is not always the best path to follow. Listen to what they say, but seek what they mean. "I wont listen to your slogans anymore" Bob Marley |

lol jambarney...u say you want less politics and more posts of trips, yet conclude with your own thoughts about politics...albeit a reply to someone else's political thoughts...which is just fine...nothing wrong with a thread about a ja topic getting into interesting and debatable topics. And apparently many are interested as if you look at the number of views, apparently many, many here are interested in this thread. that is the beauty of thought and ideas. everyone is entitled to their opinions and to comment...it is what one does with that that can become problematic. differences of opinions lead to all kinds of good things...and indeed it is debate that brings about change or the status quo would always remain. And, it is debate that allows each of us to reflect upon our own ideas, modify them, or strengthen our original thoughts and ideas, and it is what brings about consensus and agreement in many cases. Finally, it was a difference of ideas and debate about politics among other things that led to one of the greatest documents ever created - the US Constituion, often emulated but never heretofore equalled. Perhaps rather than simply being insulting to captain oil, you could add why you think what you do which would be more enlightening and maybe teach us all a likkle sumting and not offend anyone. Finally, as I see it, what went wrong with this thread as some put it, is when someone complicated what had been said, muted what was said, made assumptions about the content of a comment, or the content of a person, and insulted, all of which of course was unnecessary and counterproductive and complicating. As Keith always says, life is simple, it is people that make it complicated. Let's keep it simple and debate our ideas in a meanigful and productive manner. Afterall, we are all adults. |

Actually Ray,I think the reason this thread has so many views is because everyone wants to see who will blow their cork next. |

Come on Ray unless Cappy Oil is very sensitive , how possibly could my comments be construed as an insult or slight towards him ? I do not believe my post had the name Ray any where in it ?? In regards to possibly enlightening folks to my thoughts on US politics , I think I will take a pass. Read into it whatever you wish. Please let me know if you have recently been elevated to moderator status Ray ?? Until then I am not overly concerned about your legaleeze interpetation of my posts. Don't try to start something where in fact there is nothing. Good day . Barney |
