Hey boardies - time for some trip reports. I am going to break these into three main categories by the properties I stayed at Grand Pineapple, Negril Escape and Catcha Falling Star. At each place I will break those into smaller batches and throw in some extra reports on other "stuff". Mostly pics but some of my thoughts. I hope you enjoy them.

Grand Pineapple - first have to thank my fellow boardie who gave the code info to allow me to get the amazing deal of $37 a night plus tax for this all inclusive on the beach. I was apprehensive since I am a cliffs girl and have never done an AI in Negril.......but boy was I ever surprised.

I was greated by the staff saying "Welcome to the cutest little resort in Negril" and they were right. The lush grounds and bright colored rooms are adorable, clean and the bed was the most comfortable I have had in Negril. The food was wonderful (separate post with pics coming) and as a Diet Coke drinker I loved having a unlimited soda fountain with ice at my whim. Don't drink but you can have Bob Marley's, shots, blended drinks, beer - whatever and how much ever you want. They have kiyaks, giant water trikes, sea beds, ping pong, tennis, etc. The staff was beyond helpful and attentive. The crickets lulled me to sleep and the beach was great (separate post coming). Security is posted at the road side and beach side. Super safe.

Good to hear that you enjoyed Grand Pineapple! We stayed there when it was Negril Gardens & thought it was great! The staff were wonderfully friendly, the food was great (esp. the breakfasts), the rooms were very comfortable & nice & the beach was the best!

Please be safe on the roads both in Jamaica and also at home - life is precious!

Thanks all for your patience on my reports.....as you know it takes hours to download, resize and post pictures and I have millions but it is worth it when you guys enjoy them.

Thanks sooo much - staying there at GP in November. The pics and details are extremely helpful, but it's great to hear how much you enjoyed the place too. Keep posting.
