Been here a week now and have barely left our yard. I've been sleeping and eating and drinking and sleeping some more. I think I'm still acclimating to the humidity. Finally decided it was time to get out of the yard and run some errands.
First had to stop at SunDowner and visit Sandra from Pirates Cave. All is well with her and Tom (back in Africa) and they are now proud new grandparents of a baby boy.
We're currently enjoying Dirty Papayas and some onion rings at Canoe. Had about a week's worth of e-mails to check and delete. Was going to read some news from back in the states but decided any bad news could wait until we go home next week.
We tried to get the new Claro modem for internet, but at the moment there doesn't seem to be any available anywhere. We were told that Claro is switching to Nokia to make their modems...whether that is true or not I don't know. We were really looking forward to possibly having internet up in the hills. We're hoping Claro will have things together soon.
It's really bleaky here today with a heavy feelng of high humidity and rain in the air. We'll finish our errands and probably hit Aqua on the beach for a few more drinks and then some partying tonite at SeaStar.
Oh forgot to mention... coming into Customs we went to the Delare Line as we were bringing a type of pool heater. They looked in the box and sent us on our way...no duty! And our flight arrived 30 minutes early!

Pool heater.........this has me baffled. Is it for a hot tub or does someone like really hot pool water.
