Dear friends and valued guests,
After 30 years in the Jamaican sunshine, I have decided to take a break from the day to day management of Home Sweet Home Resort. I am very pleased to announce that on December 1st 2009, the operations of the resort will be turned over to Mike McNamara and Mark Powers of Triton Property Group http://tritonpropertygroup.com
The opportunity to work alongside these two young men and revive the resort will prove to be beneficial to everyone, most importantly you, our guests. Mike and Mark bring years of sales, marketing, property management, and hospitality experience to Negril. This change will bring new ideas and fresh energy to the resort, I am very excited to be part of the next phase of Home Sweet Home.
The transformation has already begun: A new website http://hshresort.com was launched last month, a full renovation has begun with fresh paint on all the buildings as well as a new a stone sundeck on our coral cliffs. Thanks to our long time guest Jim Asbury, we now have WiFi internet service available. Terry Ann, whom many of you know and who has operated the restaurant over the last few years, has accepted the position as the On-Site Manager of HSH Resort.
Over the past 8 months I have spent a fair amount of time with both Mike and Mark, I believe their talent, skills, and fresh perspective will greatly benefit the resort and most importantly your experience as our guest.
Please join me in welcoming Mike and Mark to the Home Sweet Home family.

they must have done a massavie emailing as I got one also and I have never stayed there. hmmmmmm wonder where they got our email addys....

I didn't get one & am a member of Negril.com, so don't think it was from the board....

just seemed strange to me as I have never stayed there and have never set foot on their property. was just wondering how they got my addy.(infact they sent it 2xs) I remember once way back when we all got some sort of email from a mass emailing...was wondering if it was the samething.

Wow ! I have friends booked in there for Jan. They didn't get any kind of email. Hope it's ready by then. It's not fun to stay in a place that's having work done. Been there done that, I hope they get a heads up. I'd be a little concerned.

I think Keith said something about email addy's being offered to groups.......cant be sure, I could be wrong, which is normal..lol....was a while back....I would assume so, its a way to generate $$$ which I sure they need also?

seemed it was stated maybe some of them might be shared and only to a select "group"....didn't sound very ominous...lol
my addy is all over the net...and even in my other email I get almost ZERO SPAM............cant say enough about the "Fox" and the "T-Bird".....
(Firefox and its email companion Thunderbird) they learn fast, and stops 'em with rarely a screw up.......
