| In the past my sim card for my Jamaican cell has been in use while I was away but not this year. I realize I have to get a new one but can I somehow retrieve the numbers from my old phone book? |

yup, just plug it in, if the numbers save to the sim, they will pop up in the new phone whether the sim is live or not. if the numbers store to the handset, then they are in that memory. a noble stroke he lifted high, Which hung not but so swift with tempest fell On the proud crest of Satan that no sight, nor motion of swift thought, less could his shield such ruin intercept; ten paces huge he back recoil'd; the tenth on bended knee...

I recently switched to ATT. They had a machine that transferred phone #'s via the SIM card. "You lost today kid, that does'nt mean you have to like it"....the man who gave Indiana Jones his hat.
