| Would this be a good place to stay for a single lady going solo? Any advise would be great. Right now they have a great sale going on. |

| Hi, yes this will be a great place to stay as a single. Centrally located to many points in Negril. Walking distance to many things. Stayed at GP this August and found it very nice in all ways. Really liked the location on the beach. "Book It!!" |

| Yes, Yes!!! Can walk to night life but best to have someone with you..and be careful on the road..it is a very busy one. |

| You are as close to nightlife as you can get.....different party every night within walking distance....alfreds next door 2-3 nights per week....bourbon beach one way and root/bamboo the other, and on thursday nights, the jungle is really hopping....we walked to all, every night....although we were a couple, my wife said she would not hesitate to walk to either alone. you will be fine, among many friends....I have a trip report going...check it out...all from the GP... |

Very central and safe. Close to everything. We were there in September and had a great time.

GP is ground zero for happenings on da Beach.....
you can't get a better location nor a better resort that has other single travelers staying der...great choice
so how good is this sale? last summers sale was awesome...

| I don't know what the rates were for this past summer,but they are 60% off right now117.00 per night. I think this is a good rate what is your thoughts? |

A lot of us on this board got crazy cheap rates in conjunction with a promo code on Orbitz, that is why you see so many people just getting back from, or are heading there shortly. At the time I booked two rooms, a gardenside coming out to about $25 per night for one person, and a beachfront cottage coming out to about $38 per night. So for two of us going is roughly $63 a night and we have two rooms. It is an unbelievable deal. I don't know when you are planning on going or which website you are booking through, but the Orbitz rate is still in effect. Use promo code "entertain200" when booking a package. If more than one of you is going, see if it is cheaper to book separately.
