LL...don't forget the redo of the pillars also. Windows now not louvers and a much larger porch. We make a Living by what we get, We make a Life by what we give.

I remember when we chose K_____ for our lodging a number of years back, a fellow boardie cautioned me, "Their website is pretty but it isn't a good representation of the property." Sure enough, our "Rustic Cottage" turned out to be a RUDE cottage...looked pretty from the outside (pic) but...too long a story. The only beach access was (and still is) by walking through a maze of restaurant tables (!) and we bailed after 2 nights. To give them credit, they didn't try and charge us the 50% of total reservation which I had agreed to in the confirmation... but that was after I invoked the "Negril internet message board" which indeed does carry some weight. ...

Especially in the rooms at some places. They always look so large and spacious but when you get there you find you can barely find room to scoot around the bed! |

About 10 years ago, same place, same "rustic cottage" with the same results as you. We never stayed and felt it was misrepresented. This episode was quite educational though....from that time forward, we would visit many resorts while vacationing. Best to see them yourselves, up close and personal, and meet the staff, etc. Since that year, we have never booked a place that we have not seen, at least in Negril that is. So, while vacationing, take some time to look around...we have never been turned down yet.
