Does anyone else suffer from this? My excitement level is so high that I can not sleep! I lay my head down on the pillow and my mind goes instantly to Seven Mile Beach. I hear and smell the ocean. I see the friends I have made and miss so much. I envision giving all the gifts we are bringing. Then I’m wide awake! This will be my third trip to Negril and it’s so true when they say “Once you go you know”. I can’t get back there fast enough!

Not I, exactly. My insomnia usually is caused by trying to remember what I forgot to pack (footnote), with an alternative of having no time to sleep because I hadn't packed ahead of time. *** do NOT try to reinforce the brain with "I must remember to bring" repeatedly; a sure insomnia inducer. Instead, turn on the light and write the item on a piece of paper THEN you will be able to fall asleep. It's kind of nice you can be thinking of Negril ahead of time, but not when it is interfering with what you have to do. Your countdown of 23 days means you'll be a basket case in about 3 weeks. LOL. sleep, sleep, slee |

LoL...I don't even try to sleep the night before departure. As for packing, I am 85 percent packed all ready, so no worries there.

Too funny! I do the same thing to try to help me get to sleep at night, especially after a stressful day. Last night I was imagining walking down westend road on a sunny day. Ended up dreaming about Negril and woke up so refreshed!! We are all so addicted to this place aren't we?? Oh well, the dreams are much cheaper and right now I just have little time to go and I'll be set for awhile.
