Sunday was mainly a stay at home day. Just a hang out and veg day. A big breakfast of bacon, eggs, hash browns and toast at home. Teresa took the time to make some banana bread and a loaf of sourdough to go with Mondays dinner. Later we decide to head up to Aqua for the webcast. There is something about this place we like. The chairs are so comfortable, the people are friendly, and the drinks just have that something special. We walked out the door and were greeted by a rainbow! We had only brief rain hours before so it was a surprise.

Headed across the street and the rainbow was still going.

Walked up the beach and as we passed Alfreds the rainbow is still there.

We didn’t see the rainbow at Aqua when we arrived. Later, we look up and there it is again!

This was a nice addition to a very pleasant evening. We were joined by the owners and had an interesting evening of conversation. Suddenly we noticed the sunset decided to show colors just like the rainbows had.

All of the sudden we realized it had gotten dark and we hadn’t brought our flashlight. Still it was a nice walk in the evening back home. Another evening at Aqua and another memory of sunsets, rainbows, and people.

Just a side note. There have been a lot of fantastic rainbow pictures posted here. Sorry these are not as good. Wish I knew how to get the colors that we saw in the rainbow.

What hotel is Aqua near? On the Negril map, there is Aqua Moon Villa and Aqua Nova.

On the map, Aqua Moon is next to Roots Bamboo and Aqua Nova is next to NBCC, quite a distance from each other.

Hi All,First and foremost, thank you so much to MoGlenn and Sweetsop for the beautiful photos of our place- we missed the rainbow so we really appreciate seeing that!
Aqua used to be called Aqua Moon- when we bought the place we changed- or I should say- shortened the name. We are between Roots Bamboo and Fun Holiday.
Yes, we are the place with over 65 yummy rums from all over the world- the JA ones being my personal faves! Also, if you look at the picture of the house, the jacuzzi is on the second floor where you see the curtains.

Sourdough and all, how can one get the sourdough going in this climate ? I was brought up on sourdough rye bread, but cannot get it going in JA !

make sure you hold a few bottles aside of Havana club. I will drink them all, don't worry.

Uhh, love rye bread. Not sure if I have ever had sour dough rye. You will have to get with Teresa and between the two of you might get something going!
