I have a friend that is having her wedding at Jamaica Inn in June of next year. We just found out the prices and the cheapest room is $645/night with a 3 night minimum!! This seems ridiculous, especially since everyone has been telling me how run down the place is now. We plan on returning to Tensing Pen for a few days afterwards to celebrate our 1 yr anniversary. Since we want to spend more money at TP and the TP area, we're now looking for a much cheaper place to stay near Jamaica Inn. Anyone have any suggestions to help us out, PLEASE!! Thanks!! |

to be clear....there is nothing within walking distance of Jamaica Inn. It's quite private. You will need transportation to other accommodations such as the one's Yardie has posted for you. Basically...anywhere in Ochi really. We make a Living by what we get, We make a Life by what we give.

does anyone have a map of ochi? i had a good one of negril that had each hotel/food accomodation marked. i think we would stay anywhere really as long as it was as close as possible. we'll probably end up just paying a "day pass" for the wedding day. |

Maybe this will give you a general idea... sorry it's kinda on the small side... "I am prepared to believe that a dry martini slightly impairs the palate, but think what it does for the soul" - Alec Waugh Jamaica "La Buena Vida"

rooms is a solid choice imo. It's beach front and is budget but at least you can walk to places to eat. We make a Living by what we get, We make a Life by what we give.
