Hi there, I was wondering if the Blackberry phones work in Negril, specifically from the Telus network. I have used it before in the Mayan and Cozumel, but never taken it to Jamaica yet. WE use it more for a quick texting back home, to see how everything is goin back home. Keeps my wife calm knowing all is well so she can enjoy the trip better. Thanks for the help! Clint

I would beleive so... that it does work. However i suggest setting it up for the WI-FI. This way you dont use long distance roaming for internet. The newest BlackBerry's seem to not have the WIFI option, but the older models do. http://www.travel2negril.com

Not sure about Blackberry's specifically but when I was in Jamiaca back in May both of my friends had their Telus phones with them and they worked just fine.

was there last week and it worked like a gem! i would recomend that you call Teles and order a voice and data plane for the time that you are away so your roaming charges are not crazy high ! SF
