No haven't been to Alices, it's on the cliffs I believe .
Haven't made it to da cliffs other than canoe & my friends so that doesn't count. Wish I could post pics but when I get home, full report with pics.
I'll keep adding pics on fb 4 now.

Rainshowers all day, sat in the hot tub & soaked in the liquid sunshine.
Hoping for some sun tomorrow last full day.

Partly cloudy beachday today, Strolled to kuyaba n back. Push Cart for sunset dinner. Jerk chicken pretty good, nice staff.
Hot tub under the stars now, gotta jet!

Just got home, air Jamaica was on time, no complaints but get to airport early if u fly aj, they have longest lines.
Traffic n road construction wasn't too bad to mobay.
Off to bed now, I promise full reports with pics asap.
I'm glad I wrote these dailies, maybe it'll help piece it all together!

Northcoast Report:
Since I'm at work, no pics. The ones above were taken at High Hope Estate where we spent the first 2 nights.
The ride to St. Ann's Bay was only an hour. Beautiful scenery on the way, countryside, mountainside small towns, etc. The little town of St. Ann's is small and compact and on a hillside overlooking the bay. The streets are small and winding. I could never give anyone directions on how to get there. Anyway HHE is set atop the mountain.
The estate looks like it belongs in Italy (more pics to come of the estate). There is a great room with a fireplace, books, piano and couches to chill which opens up to an outdoor veranda with more tables and couches too.
Then down a few steps to the pool, which overlooks the bay.
Down a few more steps to the yard where there are 2 little meditation huts to chill and look out at the bay.
The sunrises there over the mountain are incredible.
The grounds are beautiful, lush and manicured.
First night we went to Scotchies Jerk Centre and had the best Jerk Chicken ever. Hubby also got jerk pork and sausage, he loved it.
The next day we did Dolphin Cove. It was awesome, worth every penny. Trying to download video to youtube as we speak. That night we went to Scotchies again so we didn't sample the lunch or dinner at HHE. Our third day we checked out and were going to go to 9 Mile but decided we wanted to get to Negril ASAP. (the beach was calling us)!!

I graduated LBHS in 1985.
The owner of the Caribbean restaurant on 5th is from Dominica...some dishes are similar, but not as good, in my opinion.
I've spent a lot of time eating, hanging out, and painting Island Spice. Carleen is from Mobay.
