Riders complete the grueling 142km ride from Kingston to Negril on
Saturday. One hundred and twenty riders took part in "the ride for life"
which was organized by The Cycling association of Jamaica as a charity
event to support The Jamaica Cancer Society and Negril's own Rockhouse
Foundation.
Riders came from all over Jamaica, the Bahamas and Florida and included
a seventy one year old and sixteen year old (pictured). Cycling is a
fast growing sport in Jamaica and Ride for Life is raising awareness and
enthusiasm amongst Jamaicans of all ages to get on a bike and enjoy the
many benefits of the sport.
