Mr. Vasciana is head of the team responsible for the major clean up and beautification programme taking place in Negril. The project is funded by the Tourism Enhancement fund provided by the Ministry of Tourism. The aim is to enhance the area between the North Negril River, Negril Lighthouse and Negril Golf Club. This will involve clearing verges and other overgrown areas and also creating gardens in and around Negril.

Mr. Vasciana is in charge of the National Solid Waste Management Authority for western Westmoreland.
