World famous reggae superstar Buju Banton performs at the Appleton Live show

Thousands of Jamaicans celebrated Independence Day on Sunday night at the Appleton Live concert in Negril. The show had a late start (true “Jamaica time”) but the crowd enjoyed performances by Leftside & Esco, Bounty Killer, Elephant and more but it was Buju Banton that out classed the other acts with his performance.
Earlier patrons partied to the sounds of DJ Smurf, dancing for hours and no doubt enjoying the specials from the main sponsor Appleton Rum.
Celebrations ended in Negril last night after a week including Emancipation Day (Aug 1) and Independence Day (Aug 6).
