The inimitable Sue McKenzie is a Negril community member who has come to call Negril and Jamaica her home. She first fell in love with Jamaica eighteen years ago when she traveled to Kingston with a band from England and she has spent many consequent visits discovering the entire Island. In 2000, Sue came to Negril and decided it was time to make Jamaica her home. At the time she saw the need for computer/Internet services in Negril and also the need for computer skills. She opened a restaurant and Internet café and made it possible for many to go online and for others to become computer savvy.

Today Sue teaches computer skills at Whitehall Prep school and offers free computer training to unemployed youth in the community. Her Internet café is a great relaxed hangout and her computer equipment has had a recent upgrade. You can enjoy all kinds of tea and coffee, great bagels and other snacks too.

When is asked Sue why she stayed in Jamaica, she said, “I love the people and I love that in Negril anybody can be anything they want to be”.
