He is the owner of Travellers Resort and a diligent charity worker who has a rich life story and is quite a Negril character. Winston Wellington was born in Mandeville, Manchester and has lived in England, USA, Fiji and now spends most of his time in Negril. He has owned and operated nightclubs in several countries around the world and still operates a very successful taxi and limousine service in New York which he started in 1969.

He has been a member of several travel organisations and as such has travelled to over 150 countries worldwide. His travels and experiences in life has made him keen to take part in charitable works. One of the organisations that is dearest to him is the Negril Education Environmental Trust whose aim is "a book in every childs hand and a computer in every classroom". Over the past three years the charity has donated over 2 million books and many computers have been donated to schools and other organisations locally.
